Directions: Coming from the South, follow Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Street/ Old Airport Road to Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street, and follow the signs to the Central Market / Souk.
Or, if you are coming from the East or West, leave the Corniche at Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Street/ Old Airport Road and follow the signs.
Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday 10.00 am to 10.00 pm
Friday to Saturday 10.00 am to 11.00 pm
Tel: +971 2 810 7810
Parking: 5 AED per hour, basement parking (Finally! No need to fight for parking in the mad streets of Abu Dhabi). Two hours free parking if you spend any amount at the stores, we bought some cupcakes and parked for free!

First thing that struck me about this place (Besides the excellent parking, and friendly parking attendant!) was the architecture and use of beautiful wood to create a very unique building.

I love the lighting and the see-thru lift here as well!

Only a limited number of handicraft and digital electronic shops seem to be open for now, but I did see quite a few cafes and other eateries. It seems House of Fraser are opening their flagship store here at some point!
