Ying Ker Lou Hakka Restaurant, The Curve @ PJ

Following a 'lucky escape' from Assam Pedas / Window Restaurant, we quickly headed up the 'mainstream' restaurants along the courtyard of The Curve.

Add: Ying Ker Restaurant @Lot 139, 1st Floor. The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. PJ.

I like the porcelain dishes used at this restaurant, here's H's cuppa hot water!

Jasmine Tea (RM$5) - Beautifully balanced taste, and the Myanmarese waiter was courteous and efficient all night, constantly topping up the hot water, and removing used dishes etc. Brilliant service!

Hakka Yam Abacus (RM$16) - For a dish which I don't normally enjoy, this was pretty good. Not so heavy as it normally is, but tasted light and exhibited good flavours.

Stir fried Kampung Chicken with Wine (RM$28) - Hmm, I tried a bit of this (Had dinner before lah!), and it was good. Lots of chinese wine!!

Hakka Minced Pork Bantiao (Hakka noodles @ RM$13) - This was good. Really enjoyed my 2 bites! BUT, boy do I miss ... Hakka Mee at Seremban's Tow Kee
