Sri Thai, opposite PJ Hilton

I had wanted to check out this Thai restaurant for years now, finally we had a family dinner there.
Add: 21B&C, Jalan Barat, opposite PJ Hilton, PJ
Tel: +603 7956 3535
and,
Outlet: 41-43 Jalan Sultan Ismail, next to Menara Genesis HSBC Bank, KL
Tel: +603 2142 9915

Dark and cosy interior, may have retro-feel, but looks like it has actually been recently refurbished!

Kerabu chicken feet (RM$14)
Pineapple fried rice (RM$25.80) - Wow, quite expensive! Average ...
Basil and chilli chicken (RM$16) - Tasted nothing like pad kaprao, but was still yummy.
Tom Yum Koong / Prawn (RM$24) - We each had a bowl, there was only enough for the 4 of us. Pricey!

Thai style 3 spices fish (RM$32) - Fresh, spicey and tasty.

Sambal prawns (RM$20) - Good, but o' so small.
Chicken green curry (RM$16) - Pretty good too.
(But we ordered beef ... never mind!)
With a motto like 'The best of traditional thai cuisine since 1979', I was expecting a lot! Alas, I found the food to be Malaysian with a hint of Thai rather then vice-versa. Nevertheless, appetising, tasty food, which is slightly on the expensive side.
