The Ivy, Heritage Row ... KL

Saturday dinner, 10th March 2007
The Ivy @ Asian Heritage Row
11-09 Heritage House,
33 Jalan Yap Ah Shak,
50300 Kuala Lumpur

Rib-eye Steak was so-so (I much prefer Jakes), the lamb was good, the desserts were also OK (Bread and Butter pudding, and Creme Brulee). But I did like the english-charm of the place!

The Malay Mail describes this place, "With chequered floors and leather chairs, entering Ivy is like walking into a dapper gentlemen’s sitting room. Do not be fooled though, because when the music gets going, you’ll be hard pressed not to dance the night away to sing-out-loud tunes. Upstairs is a dining area that serves classic English food such as Yorkshire pudding, fish and chips and the mighty treacle sponge and custard.
